New home

Filed under: Nothing in Particular — David @ 4:05 pm

I’ve moved Anglican Samizdat to a new home here.

If I decide I like it there, I might even stay.

Although I’ll leave this version blog up, I’ve closed comments; please see the link above for the new location of Anglican Samizdat.

  1. I don’t really care for how quotes are rendered, but, apart from that, the new format doesn’t seem too bad. Is it easier to use from your vantage point?

I really hate snap shots, though. I’ve never once found them useful on any site; but they’re always a bother. They are a useless “invention” in my opinion.

  2. Not so much easier, but more flexible. Since it’s my own domain – not hosted by WordPress – I have more space and can put in real html embeds for audio and video.

    Snap shots?

  3. I thought there were snap shots when I visited the site yesterday (small image of a website that pops up when you run your cursor over a link), but I don’t see them today. Maybe I was hallucinating.

  4. You could have been hallucinating – I know I often do – but I have been doing a lot of fiddling, so they may have been temporarily activated.

    I don’t like them either.

  5. Sigh – you’re going to make me update my RSS feed, aren’t you?

  6. Only if you wish to continue to receive my corrupting and pernicious content. :-)
